Does your baby refuse every pacifier?

It's not stubbornness. It's the shape.

Babies know the difference between a hard plastic nipple and the soft, wide shape they know from nursing. Spitting it out is a reflex, not a choice.

Standard pacifier being pushed out
✕Standard pacifier

Gets spat out

Narrow, firm nipple. Pushes the tongue back and feels foreign in the mouth. Most babies push it out within seconds.

Baby sleeping calmly with Nuckly
✓Nuckly

Gets accepted

Wide, soft, breast-like. Lips roll outward, the tongue stays in front. The sucking reflex takes over and the baby settles.

Why your baby spits it out

A foreign body triggers a defense reflex.

Standard pacifiers feel nothing like the breast: too narrow, too hard, the wrong material. For a newborn that is an alarm signal, and pushing it out is a biological defense reaction, not defiance. Nuckly was built to switch that alarm off: same width, same softness, same lip posture as when nursing.

Why a fresh pacifier matters

Clean is good. Fresh is better.

Your baby sucks on a pacifier for hours every day. Saliva, warmth, boiling and little gums all take their toll, even when it still looks fine. That's why pacifiers are meant to be replaced regularly, not just cleaned.

01

Saliva leaves a film

Studies on used pacifiers show that constant contact with saliva leads to a biofilm on the surface, in one study already after a week of use. Boiling and sterilizing reduce germs a lot, but every day of use adds up.

02

Silicone wears out quietly

Heat, sterilizing and chewing slowly stress the material. Tiny cracks and rough spots are hard to see, and that's exactly where dirt and germs can sit. At the first sign of damage, a pacifier belongs in the bin.

03

Every 1 to 2 months

That's the replacement interval in our own care instructions and the one leading pacifier brands recommend. In everyday life with a baby, most parents simply forget. The subscription remembers for you.

How the subscription keeps it fresh

  1. Week 0Your first pair arrives
  2. Week 1–5Clean daily, check before each use
  3. Week 6A fresh pair arrives, the old one goes
  4. Every 6 weeksRight within the 1–2 month rule

Quick check before every use: pull the teat gently in all directions. If you see cracks, stickiness or discoloration, swap it straight away.

How it works
The solution: a breast-like shape

Feels like nursing. That's the whole trick.

Nuckly was developed over two years with midwives, doctors and hundreds of families. The shape follows the anatomy of the breast, and your baby's reflexes do the rest.

1
Lips roll outwardThe wide, soft base lets the lips flange out naturally, exactly like at the breast. No pursing, no strain.
2
A gentle vacuum formsWith the tongue in front, sucking creates the same soft vacuum as breastfeeding. Sucking becomes effortless.
3
The calming reflex kicks inEffortless sucking triggers the relaxation reflex. Your baby settles, and so do you.

Expertise you can rely on
"What matters isn't whether you use a pacifier, but how consciously you use it. That's exactly where Nuckly gets it right."

In her daily work Nadia sees how different babies are, and how important a relaxed, mindful approach to pacifiers is. A pacifier never replaces closeness or breastfeeding, but used well it can gently calm a baby and give it security.

Accepted by most babiesAlso by breastfed babies, without affecting nursing.
Supports natural behaviourThe thought-through shape invites babies to be active instead of sucking non-stop.
Not a "permanent" pacifierBabies explore it, settle, and let it go again.
Practical, everyday solutionHer verdict: a well-designed pacifier that fits real family life.

"Worked on the very first try."

Tried three pacifiers, he spat them all out. With Nuckly it worked on the very first try. It just feels different, softer, more natural. He's been sleeping better ever since, and so have I.

How does the Nuckly Subscription work?

Choose your pack and rhythm (every 6 or 12 weeks). Your first double pack costs €24.99 and comes with a free pacifier chain and free shipping. After that, each delivery is €34.99 per double pack, shipping stays free. The 6-week subscription has a minimum of 2 deliveries, after that you can cancel at any time. The stock-up subscription has no minimum term.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Online, in a few clicks, without having to log in: use the "Cancel contracts here" button at the bottom of every page. The 6-week subscription runs for at least 2 deliveries; after that, cancel before your next delivery and nothing more will be charged. The stock-up subscription can be cancelled at any time.

What if my baby doesn't accept Nuckly?

Most babies accept Nuckly within the first few tries because the shape feels like the breast. Offer it in a calm moment, for example after feeding, and gently stroke the cheek so the sucking reflex kicks in. If it still doesn't work out, our support team is happy to help with tips, and returns are easy.

Can I use Nuckly while breastfeeding?

Yes. Nuckly was developed together with midwives specifically to combine with breastfeeding. The wide, soft nipple encourages the same natural sucking pattern as nursing, which helps avoid nipple confusion.

Which age is Nuckly suitable for?

Nuckly is designed for babies from birth. The one-size shape adapts naturally to the baby's mouth. As with any pacifier, please check it regularly and replace it every 1 to 2 months.

What is Nuckly made of?

100% medical-grade silicone, free from BPA, PVC and phthalates. It's a single piece with no seams or gaps, so nothing can get stuck inside and there's nothing to take apart.

How do I clean and sterilize it?

Boil it for 5 minutes before first use, then rinse with warm water day to day and sterilize regularly by boiling or in a sterilizer. Nuckly is fully transparent, so you can see it's clean. Please keep it out of the microwave and dishwasher, high heat can damage the material.

What exactly is in the Double Pack?

Two Nuckly NatureSense pacifiers, one for home and one for the bag. Both are made of medical-grade silicone in one piece and are suitable from birth. With a subscription, your first delivery also includes a free Nuckly pacifier chain.

Do you ship to my country, and how fast?

We ship across Europe and internationally. You'll receive a tracking link as soon as your order leaves the warehouse. Not happy? Easy returns, no questions asked.
