We are Paul and Dustin – two friends who have known each other for many years and eventually realized that they share the same question: 
Why is there so much for babies – but so little that feels truly natural?

Paul:

When I became a dad in 2023, I just wanted the best for my child. Again and again, I heard the same well-meaning advice: 
“You shouldn't give the pacifier too often.”

This sentence stuck with me. Especially during my morning walks with my baby, I asked myself: 
Why actually? 
Why do pacifiers have this specific shape – and why are there none that feel more natural and don't automatically encourage constant sucking?

I realized: A pacifier shouldn't just be a "plug" stuck in the mouth permanently. It should allow the baby space to discover, grasp, explore – and also to let go.

The idea was born.

And it was at this point that Dustin came into play.

Dustin not only brings years of experience from retail but also remembers well the time when his little sister was a baby. She also had problems with conventional pacifiers back then – for example, skin irritations around the mouth from hard plastic shields.

It quickly became clear to us: 
We wanted to develop something that doesn't "occupy" babies but playfully accompanies them.

Dustin:

When Paul told me about his idea, I was immediately excited. From the very beginning, it was important to us not to just make another pacifier, but to think of something truly new.

During the development and testing phase, more and more positive aspects emerged: 
The special shape invites babies to grasp and explore the Nuckly themselves. The integrated handle also supports hand motor skills – and gives the baby the opportunity to decide for itself when it wants to suck and when it doesn't.

More than just a pacifier

Nuckly NatureSense consciously does not encourage constant sucking. 
It helps babies to calm down without having to keep it in their mouth all the time – thus promoting natural, self-determined behavior.
